Civil Engineer - Jubail 3

• Maintenance of adequate communication links and interfaces between all project disciplines, site management and the installation contractor(s)
• Supervise, manage, coordinate and control the site activities of the Contractor, equipment supply contractors and installation contractors.
• Manage and coordinate the technical interfaces or clarifications between disciplines, the supply contractors, installation contractors and project areas.
• Maintain surveillance of all project activities and where necessary initiate corrective actions to meet the projects objectives.
• Ensure compliance with the Technical Specification and performance criteria during design, installation and operation of the plant.
• Ensure that adequate inspections and tests are carried out, and the results are properly documented, to ensure safe, reliable and correct operation.
• Ensure adherence to or improvement of project time scheduled.
• Identification and management of project risks.
• Ensure that satisfactory safety standards and safe working practices are adhered to.
• Ensure that appropriate quality standards are implemented and adhered to.
• Attend regular progress review meetings to facilitate the production of regular progress report.
• Be fully aware of EPC Contract obligations, and civil part of the Owner Technical Specification (OTS)
• Supervise the EPC Contractor’s civil progress, quality of the works, and testing required to assure structure stability for long terms.
• Ensure that appropriate quality standards are implemented and adhered to.
• GRP lines stability (backfilling) along with soil conditions, 
• Familiar with On-shore and off-shore execution works
• Monitors and check the EPC Contractors’ work for onshore and offshore civil activities as per agreed ITP to ensure the timely delivery of the works.

• EPC background and experience is a must
• Project size experience to match the size of the project at hand
• A minimum of 1 related project completed.
• Be knowledgeable on international standards and 'best practice' in relation to Civil work
• Familiar with requirement for onshore and offshore construction requirements, best practices and new technologies.
• Working in remote areas, in various conditions, environments and locations.
