Civil Manager - Jubail 3

• Be fully aware of EPC Contract obligations, and civil part of the Owner Technical Specification (OTS)
• Supervise the EPC Contractor’s civil progress, quality of the works, and testing required to assure structure stability for long terms.
• Ensures the EPC Contractor’s compliance in executing of the works with the approved Method Statements/ Risk Analyses and regulations at every stage related to civil;
• Ensure compliance with the Technical Specification and performance criteria during design, installation and operation of the plant;
• Ensure that appropriate quality standards are implemented and adhered to.
• GRP lines stability (backfilling) along with soil conditions, 
• Assists to the weekly site meetings, progress and/or discipline technical meetings with EPC Contractor;
• On-shore and off-shore geotechnical investigations and topographical survey experience.
• Monitors and check the EPC Contractors’ work for onshore and offshore civil activities as per agreed ITP to ensure the timely delivery of the works;
• Provides the Construction Manager with the inputs for the weekly progress reports.
• Verification of the site logbook managed by the EPC Contractor.
• In cooperation with the Planning and Control Engineer, follows up of the actual progress versus planned values, hold responsible for any delay.
• Ensures that the critical activities are executed according schedule and looks for opportunities to create margin within the critical path.
• Analyze the works and imposes optimizations towards the Contractor where possible
• Evaluates and approves all recovery plan of the delayed activities to secure the overall schedule
• Daily management of on-site technical personnel (hours present, leave, etc.) for the personnel reporting directly to him, in cooperation with HR manager.
• Any other assignment given by Construction Manager.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) OR equivalent certification is preferred
• EPC background and experience is a must
• Project size experience to match the size of the project at hand
• A minimum of 2 related project completed.
• Be knowledgeable on international standards and 'best practice' in relation to Civil work
• Should have problem Solving and Decision Making skills
