Job Description
- Receives and issues documents under transmittal, externally and internally according to document distribution matrix.
- Organize updates and controls technical documentation, records, and data.
- Ensures document management system accordingly to established procedures and standards (documents numbering, formats, issuance, review, dispatch, recording and archiving)
- Communicate and liaise with project team, Suppliers / 3rd Parties to agree standards, systems, efficient flow of documentation, handover and closeout of activity to ensure consistency in document control as required.
- Receiving, cataloguing and storing both hard electronic copies of all technical drawings, reports and related information, in line with policies and procedures.
- Work with Project management team to develop and maintain the communications between PMC/EPC and Company.
- Ensure that all documents have no errors in file names/ revisions/ submissions etc., before submitting it to the recipient department / Party to avoid confusion.
- Ensure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, contractors and suppliers as applicable.
- Develops and maintains project department documents control register.
- Records and files all documentation between the project department, contractors, suppliers and independent consultants.
- Ensure proper adherence to company Policy and Procedure and international standards concerning management, archiving and retention of company documents, records and data.
Skills
- 1. Awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management system principles.
- 2. Preferably with previous hands on experience in in Data Management Syste or similar software being utilize in Project execution documentation and communication system
- 3. Excellent IT literacy in Microsoft Office
- Computer literate.
- Use SAP.
- Good understanding of the organization and the region.
- Good command of English (Arabic will be an advantage).
