Job Description

Budget and Cost Control Planning

  •      Support the establishment of annual financial budgets and targets for each plant, to ensure they meet the management’s expectations and the overall strategic goals of NOMAC.
  •      Work with the different stakeholders (Plant GMs, finance team etc.) to ensure seamless collaboration and ensure any variances / clarifications are provided on time.

Budget Monitoring

  •      Monitor the financial performance against the budget to ensure awareness of anticipated costs/revenues, identification of areas of unsatisfactory performance or cost reduction, and capitalization of performance improvement opportunities.

Trends and Forecasting Analysis

  •      Analyse cost trends and forecasts for project costs, and communicate it to all related parties, in order to help recommend necessary measures, actions and methods to be taken.
  •      Consolidate the monthly forecast of payments required based on budget and actual commitments and share it with the Finance team, to ensure timely and efficient pay-outs as per the contractual agreements.

Financial Control

  •      Implement the financial controls framework at the plant level, by integrating industry best practices and financial risk management activities to establish financial information sharing and reporting standards.

Reporting

  •      Prepare regular monthly reports and reviews of projects cost performance, and provide all concerned parties with regular feedback and advice, in order to increase their engagement in increasing the company’s profitability.

Budget Advice

  •      Provide expert advice on cost and budgeting issues related to current projects in order to help improve performance of the plants.

Policies, Processes, Systems & Procedures

  •      Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders.

Health, Safety, Security & Environment

  •      Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude.

  •      Perform any other duties which the organization may require to be carried out.
