Civil Inspector

Location: Umluj

Primary Purpose

•          To inspect the all kind of civil works as per approved drawing, standards & codes of construction and specification of the project
•          To inspect and monitor any civil works and maintenance at the Plant.

Principal Accountabilities:

•          To inspect the all kind of civil works of contractors as scheduled on daily basis.
•          To ensure safety standards and procedures are implemented and followed in accordance with contract requirements and Company guidelines.
•          To ensure that quality of works is maintained in every aspect as per code & standards of construction, relevant drawings and specification of project.
•           To monitor, the job has been carried out as per Method Statements and Inspection and Test Plans as submitted to ensure compliance with the Contract requirements
•           Ensures compliance with QA/QC procedures, ITP and Method Statements and ensure all tests are carried out as per Contract requirements.
•           Prepare the weekly site construction progress report.

Qualifications and Experience

•          Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or any relevant discipline.
•          Minimum 3 years in same filed.
•           Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Arabic; Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Other Competencies & Skills:

•   Professional/technical knowledge and experience to carry out job.
•   Ability to organize and maintain field inspection and office date record.
•   Physically able to reach the construction site
