Electrical/PV Senior Engineer

• Maintenance of adequate communication links and interfaces between all project disciplines, site management and the installation contractor(s)
• Supervise, manage, coordinate and control the site activities of the Contractor, equipment supply contractors and installation contractors.
• Manage and coordinate the technical interfaces or clarifications between disciplines, the supply contractors, installation contractors and project areas.
• Maintain surveillance of all project activities and where necessary initiate corrective actions to meet the projects objectives.
• Ensure compliance with the Technical Specification and performance criteria during design, installation and operation of the plant.
• Ensure that adequate inspections and tests are carried out, and the results are properly documented, to ensure safe, reliable and correct operation.
• Ensure adherence to or improvement of project time scheduled.
• Identification and management of project risks.
• Ensure that satisfactory safety standards and safe working practices are adhered to.
• Ensure that appropriate quality standards are implemented and adhered to.
• Attend regular progress review meetings to facilitate the production of regular progress report.

• Detailed knowledge of all types of site electrical equipment.
• Detailed practical knowledge and experience of the electrical MV/LV switchgear panel.
• Detailed practical knowledge and experience of the other equipment (Transformer, DC/UPS system, EDG, protection relay, field erection work).
• Ability to read and understand the different electrical drawings and to use them in trouble shooting.
• Technical report writing, and Project managing skills.
• Good command of English.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office & other IT Applications.
