Logistics Officer - Supply Chain

Job Description

 Assists the department in coordinating with huge supplier-base by providing assistance to buyers;
 Ensures proper coordination of purchasing process involving assisting in goods purchases and returns, documentation-handling both shipping and receiving, and continuous communication with supplier to guarantee timely delivery.
 Develop logistical plans for current operations and logistics contingency plans.
 Develop reports on material and personnel movements and various operational logistics problems.
 Receipt of all original shipment papers and work private letters manner payment for the shipment addressed to Customs and vowed statements shipment private use of the company and not to sell, and when the shipment arrives, we pay customs her fee and then connect the shipment to Rabigh through our employee or by the shipping company if the shipment is large or heavy, compared to the transfer fee.
 Follow-up to the next material by rapid transport companies like Aramex and DHL and follow them from leaving the country to come to her arrival in Jeddah and the payment of customs duties for shipment and then receiving the shipment.
 Arrange all documents and processing for importing materials exemption.
 Provide transportation for any materials needed.
 Review customs at the port and airport in the presence of any problem and try to solve.
 Follow-up customs clearance companies every day to see the work that has been completed for shipments to avoid any delay in exit materials.
 Continuous familiarization with SAP system in all Materials Management levels.
 Fully recorded (documented) communication with all operating units.
 On-time communication (no delay; no pending) with all internal and external channels.
 To submit on a weekly /monthly basis all requested reports to Procurement supervisor/Supply Chain Manager.

Skills

 High School or Technical/Vocational School graduate
 Basic knowledge of logistic management (systems, processes and procedures)
 Computer literate

 At least 5 years of related work experience Understanding Logistic Process and Procedures.
 Creating shipping/delivery routes and schedules
 Tracking shipment progress.
 Understanding safety/security processes and procedures.
 Experience in SAP.
 Good communication, planning and organizing, and customer service orientation skills
