Job Summary
Responsible for Procurement administration and order processing using ERP systems. Expediting materials from suppliers and ensure on-time delivery. Liaise with Account Department on payment matters.
Roles & Responsibilities
1Ensure competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works related with purchasing.
2Execution and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties.
3Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with the suppliers.
4Negotiate for the best purchasing package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with the suppliers and contractors assigned.
5Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
6Prepare & issue purchase orders in accordance to specifications and agreed terms and conditions.
7Monitor and coordinate deliveries of items between suppliers (local or overseas).
8Coordination with user departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work for projects assigned.
9Assist in managing and following up overseas orders.
10Handling and monitoring of claims to plants and vendors for defectives, shortage, missing parts.
11Liaise with Account Department on payment matters.
12Ensure applicable environmental and safety are communicated to the supplier.
13Qualification and performance evaluation of vendors.
14Perform other duties as assigned.

DesiredGraduate, Bachelors Degree
PreferredEngineering Diploma or Associate Engineering
Minimum Experience
Minimum5 Years
PreferableUp to 7 years Purchasing & Logistics with Power & Desalination Project background

Work Condition
The job holder requires supporting all Power & Desalination Plants, scattered all around KSA, in terms of providing their chemicals, spare parts, consumables needs. The ultimate requirement of the job is to replenish the safety stock levels of all chemicals, spare parts, consumables etc on timely and proactive manner. The job also requires a very close coordination with the end users & with the suppliers / contractors.
