Recruitment Supervisor

Job Description

To manage and oversee the talent acquisition process for the assigned region (International), while ensuring that the budgeted manpower needs are executed on time and in compliance with approved manpower plans, to support NOMAC in the realization of its business objectives, through its talent.

People Management: Supervise the activities and work of the team members to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems.

Manpower Planning: Coordinate with concerned departments, in conjunction with the OD Manager to assess all staffing needs, in order to facilitate the preparation of the manpower plans and budgets while ensuring that the recruitment process follows the proper channels.

Recruitment Plans and Reports: 

  • Manage the preparation and presentation of timely and comprehensive recruitment plans and reports, to reflect the progress of recruitment activities against agreed plans.
  • Oversee the maintenance of a structured candidate database, in order to ensure the availability of information at any time needed. 

Identification of Sourcing Portals and Candidates

  • Lead the identification and approval of chosen sourcing portals and channels, in order to establish contact with prospect candidates.
  • Manage the identification of potential external candidates detected through previous recruitment efforts or through the recruitment database, and oversee the formulation of a list of potential candidates, so as to accelerate the recruitment process.

Candidate Screening and Assessment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including of conducting initial screening, and assessment, coordinating interviews with senior management, collation of results, participation in negotiations, preparation of reports, etc., for the management / concerned department on the outcomes of candidates, so as to ensure objective selection process, whilst gaining an accurate bearing of the candidate's cognitive abilities, personality/behavioral style and skills.

Coordination of Offers and Onboarding

  • Lead the preparation and documentation process required for the issuance of official offer letters, visas, insurance etc., and effective preparation of the induction process, so as to ensure the recruitment process is smooth, efficient and positive experience for the candidate.
  • Plan and manage the onboarding and induction process for the new employees, to ensure the required orientation programs are provided in a timely manner.
  • Ensures that all visa, immigration and PRO related documents and approvals are completed and in place for all new hires, so that NOMAC remains compliant with legislation at all times and all employees are working legally within the company.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain good relationship with external recruitment agencies, to ensure that right calibre of professionals is selected and attracted, and to guarantee that the agencies have the required knowledge about the NOMAC’s needs.
  • Evaluate and adjudge the quality of service provided by the placement agencies/ vendors, based on the performance and skill set of the candidates provided, in order to ensure appropriate agencies/ vendors are appointed for future references.
  • Communicate with managers and supervisors in the business regularly to obtain a better understanding on their recruitment needs and whenever possible leverage from the internal resources and talent to fill vacant positions.

Policies, Processes, Systems & Procedures: Adhere to all relevant organizational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner.

Continuous Improvement: Contribute in the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the organization's standards.

Health, Safety, Security & Environment: Adhere to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental procedures, instructions and controls so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.

Related Assignments: Perform any other duties which the line manager may require to be carried out.
