Sr. Mechanical Engineer

• Supervision of EPC contractor works, from start-up to commissioning, including the achievement of budget, quality and schedule goals, specialized in RO desalination plant engineering.
• To give technical direction and supervise engineers for Main Systems and Balance of Plant, erection and installation of RO desalination plant equipment, piping, pumps etc.
• Advises and supports Construction Manager with technical support, works plans, construction status and other reports as may be required to keep management informed about progress.
• Be fully aware of EPC Contract obligations, and mechanical part of the Owner Technical Specification (OTS)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills at different levels.
• Strong leadership and organizational capabilities, understand and communicate complex technical, logical, or process issues in a timely, concise, and objective manner.
• Supervise, manage, coordinate and control the site activities of the Contractor, equipment supply contractors and installation contractors.
• Manage and coordinate the technical interfaces or clarifications between disciplines, the supply contractors, installation contractors and project areas.
• Able to influence multi-functional teams and leaders and develop and maintain relationships across the organization.
• Excellent ability to analyze and independently solve a variety of difficult situations and problems using timely decision making
• Competent to use, MS projects, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to safety at all times, including personal behavior
• Document Management System

• A broad knowledge of recognized American and British design codes
• Must have strong EPC experience.
• Sound knowledge and experience in ISO Quality Management System. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001
