 To execute the operational sourcing and procurement activities for the DEWA CSP Power plant in coordination with Plant O&M team as well as the International Procurement Manager so as to ensure cost optimized and timely procurement of materials and services for uninterrupted and efficient O&M of the Plants ensuring complete compliance to NOMAC’s core values on safety, people, efficiency, partnership and integrity.

• To execute the sourcing / procurement activities in line with the Procurement Plan as well as operational requirements for all materials and services for the Power Plant .
• Identification of suppliers needed to fulfill the plant’s sourcing requirements along with coordinating their pre-qualification.
• Finalization of contracts related to materials and services in close coordination with all stake holders including legal.
• Execution of procurement process including commercial negotiations and purchase order finalization.
• Expediting with suppliers for placed purchase orders.
• Ensure that all sourcing and procurement is done within the framework of country specific local procurement regulations.
• Execute the procurement for Initial Spare parts wherever applicable contractually.
• Deliver on KPI’s related to Sourcing and procurement for the plant.
• Achieving a sourcing related cost saving target for the Plant.
• Support to the tendering process for cost and lead time inputs.
• Support the supplier performance monitoring and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.

• Bachelor’s Engineering.
• Fluency in spoken and written English language mandatory.
• At least 7 years of Experience in sourcing from UAE and international markets as well as handling the procurement functions in Power or Oil and gas sector. The experience to cover sourcing of parts, Site services, consumables, chemicals, tooling as well as administrative materials/services.
• Experience with SAP a definite advantage.
• Sound knowledge on MS Office.
• Should have the ability to understand the product or service technically with the sourcing perspective.
• Strong experience on sourcing and procurement through local as well as international vendors with good understanding of commercial terms and conditions.
• Good experience in execution of Procure to pay cycle.
• Experience in finalizing international commercial contracts as well as monitoring its performance.
• Good understanding of sourcing / procurement related risks and their mitigation plans.
• Awareness of Quality, Occupational health and safety and environment management systems.
• Exposure to vendor qualification and their performance control systems.
• Proven track record of delivering on sourcing/procurement related KPI’s including cost saving initiatives.
• Fair knowledge on local as well as international logistics requirements.
• Good planning and organizing skills and an ability to execute the plan within a definite timeframe.
• Should be a team player with exposure to working with multi-national teams.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Willing to work and deliver under pressure.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
