Electrical Engineer - PV

Responsible for plant maintenance under supervision of Plant Manager. Provides Management and Technical Instructions to the team and prepare the Maintenance Plans. You will be expected to provide instructions and supervision of the Maintenance Team for the PV Plant. Prepare O&M reports, Technical reports and will support Plant Manager in day to day business. Design review, involvement in construction and to prepare the warranty claims during operation will be part his responsibilities.

• Develop and ensure implementation of maintenance procedures to achieve the optimum utilization and operating efficiency of Photovoltaic plant.
• Control the operation and maintenance activities of the staff and subcontractors
• Develop and approval of the maintenance plan according with O&M contract
• Ensure that adequate and trained personnel are available to effectively carry out plant activities
• Reporting to the Plant activities, incident reports with causes and remedy actions to the Customer, summary of daily log sheet, daily performance report, weekly status report, and monthly performance as well as operation activities with any recommendations of modification and annual report. Control and report of Key Performance Indicators
• Control the warehouse inventory and issue the procurement request of the tools, spare parts and consumables
• Control the owner’s warehouse, providing tracking of spare parts used, warranty claims and reposition of the used parts
• Assist to periodic meetings with subcontractors and suppliers to stablish operating conditions, maintenance progress, problems and solution of operation and maintenance plans
• Identify the competency gap for their subordinate personnel and implement necessary actions
• Ensure identification of root cause for the identified non conformances/ deviations and to implement corrective actions/Preventive actions
• Facilitate the Emergency drills planned
• Provide adequate support to carry out the internal audits in the plant and ensure systematic closing of identified non conformances/deviations
• Follow the HSE rules and guidelines to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the plant
• Facilitate adequate training for the personnel
• Ensure monitoring and control of contractors & subcontractors activities within the premises
• Administrate warranty claims and communication with suppliers to assure the spare parts and services at the plant
• Prepare the Performance and Availability reports
• Force Majeure management
• Provide technical support and guidance for technical aspects related with the Photovoltaic Power Plant and Electric Generation
• Ensure and direct implementation of efficient and effective maintenance methods and techniques.
• Define the correct cleaning activities; processes and periodicity
• Provide technical support and guidance for technical aspects related with the Photovoltaic Power Plant Electric Generation
• Provide Operation Instructions to the SCADA Operators, executing Grid Operator Instructions. Communicate with Grid Operators of Energy Forecast and Outages due to Plant Failures, following Grid Code Operation Instruction
• To write Operation and maintenance instructions for the PV Plant
• Play a positive role in design review, construction and commissioning phase

• Bachelor Degree in Electric Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in Commercial PV farms.
• At least 2 years of experience in operation and maintenance of PV plants.
• Experience in Construction and Commissioning of PV plant will be an added value
• Maintenance Experience in High Voltage Equipment
• Advance Writing and speaking English skills.
