Job Description
•Hands on experience in setting up Finance, Accounting & reporting functions for business in new locations along with establishing policies and procedures for such businesses
•Possess SAP experience middle to advanced level.
•Excellent Excel and Power Point skills
•Business Analysis & Interpretation for decision making
•Independently be able to prepare and present management reports with accuracy and details to senior executives and Board
•Budget & Business Planning, requirement assessment, drawing up budgets, challenging budgets. Establishing Budgetary and Cost Control.
•Have strong experience of controlling, financial reporting and consolidation of entities spread over wide geographies, working knowledge in business model building and evaluation
•Thorough working knowledge in a Contracting (long term high value, i.e more than 10 years and more than USD 300 M each) environment, extract contractual requirement and enable tracking
•Possess International Taxation & Transfer Pricing (working knowledge)
•Possess Foreign exchange & hedging knowledge for managing International subsidiaries (working knowledge)
•Ability to understand risk management and implement the risk culture.
•Strong understanding of controls, Establish Internal Control framework, devise and implement policies and procedures as may be required from time to time to meet up to evolving business needs and changes in the regulatory and compliance environment.
•Effective working with External and Internal Auditors
•Able to forecast and manage working capital needs of entities under his control & evolve and implement funding strategies as required
•Working experience on Change Management
Skills
•The Ideal candidate must have previous experience in Power Industry or alternatively in process or contracting industry, from SAMENAT region.
•Strong preference will be provided to candidates who have held or holding positions of Financial Controller or Regional FM, with working experience of at least 3 years in same position.
•Total Post qualification Experience should be not less than 15 years
•Chartered Accountant with Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business -preference will be given to the candidates with additional Qualification of CMA or CWA
•Strong knowledge of IFRS is must
•OHADA knowledge will considered as plus
