Job Description
Responsible for Corporate Planning and Co-ordination with all plants at international sites of NOMAC which are under operation or implementation. The General Manager Generation shall be responsible for daily and monthly MIS monitoring the plant performance against agreed KPI, Production Planning, Outage Planning including planning of resources such as manpower and material.
- Prepare and monitor plant specific KPI's for each site. Monitor KPI’s Monthly, Quarterly and yearly basis, report deviations, record reasons for variance and prepare action plan to be back on track in close coordination with each site.
- Preparation of monthly MIS report highlighting the achievements of targets of KPI by all NOMAC International Projects.
- Closely work with the various plant teams to develop a short term & long term maintenance strategy / plan and condition monitoring plan, based on an equipment criticality analysis for each of the NOMAC operated plants in the International Division.
- Work closely with the site teams in identifying the scope of work to be carried out during annual planned outages, plant modifications or improvements, additional jobs which are to carried out during the shutdown, resource & material identification
- Develop and implement appropriate change control processes.
- To ensure ongoing and timely compliance with all relevant statutory obligations in manner consistent with the operational and commercial objectives of the region.
- Work closely with the IMS team to monitor proper implementation of the IMS process.
- Ensure the appropriate planning procedures and computerized maintenance management processes are in place as applicable to a prudent maintenance planning regime.
- Monitor that all the Plants are complying with Preventive Maintenance schedule and compliance CM/PM ratio.
- Develop and implement appropriate warranty management processes. Ensure the warranties are properly managed and documented, in line with the contracts in place.
- Ensure that the maintenance planning ensures to meet availability, reliability, efficiency, generation and cost targets, safely and within the environmental, legal and contractual requirements.
Skills
- Degree in Engineering
- 10 Years in Planning and engineering in the Power Sector
- Exposure to Thermal Power plants, CCPP, Desalination and /or renewable technology etc
- Proven experience in Power Plants
- O&M experience
- 5 years’ experience with exposure to Renewable energy sector Solar PV, CSP & Wind shall be an added advantage.
- Expertise in the setup / review of Maintenance strategies, RCM, change mgmt., root cause analysis, statutory obligations (written schemes), outage management
- Awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management system principles
- Hazard Risk assessment
- Leadership and communication skills
