Job Description
-Under directives from I&C Supervisor, assist the I&C Technician in providing corrective and preventive maintenance of all plant instrument and control equipment.
-Immediate response and action to Supervisors inquiry/requests at any given time.
-Maximizing time by performing maintenance activities (e.g. documenting procedures, housekeeping, familiarization with manuals, etc.)
-Completion of tasks assigned, including assistance to checklist completion & SAP reporting.
-Effective and accurate resolutions (closeouts) to plant maintenance work orders.
-Submission of work-improvement related suggestions.
-Complete attendance on HSE and other required trainings.
-Contribute and assist in the conduct of in-house assigned trainings per quarter.
-Ensure accuracy of information/feedback about work order status.
-Zero conflict situations with buddy technician.
-Provides assistance to the 2 other Maintenance sections, as required.
-Exhibits initiative in using available resources (i.e. manuals, drawings, etc.).
-On-time acceptance and completion of assigned tasks.
-Zero complaints from customers on maintenance works.
-On time completion of customers' required service.
-Reporting to work on time and no unnecessary early and irregular time outs.
-100% compliance with PPE.
-On-time reporting of safety incidents or near-misses. Report at least 2 per month.
Skills
Educational:
-Vocational or Technical course graduate, specializing in electronics or electrical technology
-Knowledge of basic instrumentation and control
-Knowledge of basics of DCS and PLC operations, I&C instruments, calibration, repair and maintenance
Professional:
At least 2 years related work experience in instrumentation and control maintenance job preferably in thermal power plant instrumentation, or in an automated industrial plant.
