Job Description
- Design, implement and evaluate maintenance strategies, policies, procedures and methods.
- Support Maintenance planning to develop plans and schedules for all activities under Maintenance
department. Review execution progress and ensure completion on time. - Review spares availability and recommends stock level adjustment and new stocks to ensure
ecumenical and safe stock for maintenance work - Diagnose breakdown problems and recommend actions to eliminate such breakdown.
- Provide technical support to maintenance staff and carry-out quality inspections on jobs.
- Liaise with client departments.
- Evaluate technically supplier offers for spares and services.
- Participate in maintenance budgeting for five years, monitor and control maintenance costs.
- Review Maintenance KPI’s, recommends and follows up actions to achieve the targets.
- Investigate accidents or injuries and prepare reports of findings and recommendations
- Reviews the preventive maintenance programs and recommend changes when required to improve the
programs. Ensure that PM programs are covering all plant equipment. - Review shutdowns work scopes and standard spares lists to ensure effective scopes for plant reliability.
- Counsel employees about work-related issues and assist employees to correct job-skill deficiencies.
- Examine objects, systems, or facilities and analyze information to determine needed installations services, or repairs.

Skills
- University graduate/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field), Master's Degree
preferred - Licensed engineering professional
- Strong knowledge in power plant equipment maintenance
- Computer knowledge (MS Office)
- At least 10 years related professional experience, with at least 5 years in leadership capacity
- Work experience in maintenance of power plant equipment, boiler/turbine and auxiliaries, spare parts
identification and management, planning & scheduling of maintenance - Strong leadership (planning, organizing, multi level communication) and technical writing skills
