Job Description
-Installing and upgrading company servers and applications
-Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system
-Modifying the database structure, as necessary, and
-Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database
-Maintaining system reliability, i.e. uptime kept to the maximum through system monitoring, data back-ups and regular hardware/software maintenance,
-Ensuring all systems and networks are always available.
-Administration of the servers, databases and networks.
-Maintaining all IT systems (hardware, software and networking systems)
Skills
Qualification:
-University graduate/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
-Strong technical knowledge: system monitoring and automation, data back-up and regular hardware/software maintenance
-Basic Training in systems administration, DBA
Minimum Experience:
At least 3 years of related professional experience, preferably in a power plant or manufacturing environment
