Supervise and participate in receiving, purchasing within delegated authority, ordering, stocking and issuing supplies, materials, parts, and tools

Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.

check shipments for condition, shortage and discrepancies and prepare reports;

determine those supplies and material appropriate for stores inventory and non-stores storage by facilitating and participating in user group meetings, interacting with end users and Purchasing staff, and reviewing usage data and storage space limitations;

ensure on an ongoing basis proper inventory levels and reorder points;

7

conduct or supervise periodic and annual inventories;

8

analyze storage, equipment, and customer service requirements and feedback and make recommendations to improve;

supervise the efficient utilization of available storage space;

respond to questions regarding items stored;

Operate a forklift and other warehouse vehicles and equipment.

Communicating with other departments.

Overseeing stock control and processing orders.

Ensuring quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met.

Fulfilling objectives and directions from the operation's headquarters.

Coordinating the use of automated and computerized systems.

 Identification, segregation and preservation of materials stored

Identify, contain and report spillages

Segregation of waste for proper disposal

Inform relevant personnel about the arrival of material and to arrange for inspection

Report deviations of received material to the Purchase department

Arrange to return non-conforming materials

Issue material as per the requirements and maintain records

Perform other duties as assigned.
