Project Engineer (Re-Engineering)

Scope of Work:

-The principal purpose of this role is to be a team player and assist with the Re Engineering team to carry out scanning / Design Manufacture and promoting the NOMAC scanning services to achieve budgeted growth of the aftermarket service business in reverse engineering Division.

-Person will be responsible for functional technical scanning, design, and manufacturing to Globally recognized QA standards. He / She shall always participate in all the divisional objectives and work with the utmost highest standards of quality & service.

-The engineer must support the workshop manufacturing teams and support all the preparation as well as completion activities within the process to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operations of manufacture and supply, service of pumps, rotating equipment & re-engineering of parts, to an optimum efficiency, utilizing both internal and external resources with a keen eye to ensure profitability is achieved.

Professional Experience:

 Minimum 8 years' experience Reverse engineering and Design of rotating equipment spare parts within the OEM, End User Industries, manufacturing, service, repair reverse engineering to API & BS ISO specifications.

 Skills:

-Knowledge of manufacturing process of cast and machined parts 

-Expert level knowledge of Faro Arm, operations, CAD, GeoMagic, Polyworks modelling, drawing software, laser alignment and concentricity checks

-Excellent communication, influencing and motivating skills to be able to sell services.

-Project Management of batch Design, manufacturing & supply

-Strong planning, organizing, and integration skills with problem solving instinct

-Teamwork and collaboration skills

Education:

 -Mechanical Engineer with Engineering design  Pump design specializations or equivalent through demonstrable experience with OEM / Market Leader.

-Scanning Qualifications, a must.
