Sales Manager – Indonesia

Job Description

Founded in 2009, and acquired by NOMAC in 2018, NOMAC Maintenance Energy Services (NMES) is the leading regional non-OEM service provider for the middle east region in terms of long-term contracted market share. Currently holding a portfolio of more than 14 Gigawatt of installed Power under LTSA, and with 12 Gigawatt more under development, NMES currently performs all required outage services (minor, medium, major, CI, HGPI, MI) on 25 Gas Turbines, 26 Steam turbines and 51 Generators. NMES supports its end-users by providing OEM level quality services and exceptional value creation through highly skilled and trained outage personnel (outage managers, Field Service Engineers, Technicians, specialists) and by applying innovative.

 

Objective

Prepare, lead, and implement a tailored sales and business development strategy for third-party utilities and the Power Generation industry in Indonesia. This strategy should be aligned with NMES's long-term objectives and aimed at driving sales growth, nurturing client relationships, and expanding market share within the Indonesian market. The role involves identifying growth opportunities, engaging with Government agencies, and staying informed about market trends to ensure NMES's portfolio meets the unique needs of the Indonesian energy sector.

 

Strategy & Plans

  • In conjunction with the Head of Commercials & Sales, develop sales/business development strategy to capture third party market with a focus on Power Generation.
  • Translate the strategy into operational business plans and implement it timely to achieve the financial target.
  • Meet third party clients on regular basis to develop business and bring targeted revenue.
  • Develop, lead, and implement marketing plans.
  • Attend/organize meetings with clients at various locations (in different countries) on a short notice to discuss business development opportunities and client’s requirements.

Skills

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or electrical.

 

Minimum Experience:

  • 15 years’ overall experience, preferably 8 to 10 years in the Power generation in relevant area
  • Extensive depth and breadth of knowledge and exposure to Power generation.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent business and financial analysis skills
  • Commercially astute, and able to structure a bid to present the offer in the best light whilst minimizing risk to the business.
  • A pro-active high achiever with high energy levels, who is used to working under pressure and to tight/challenging deadlines.
  • Thorough understanding of the business value chain
  • Thorough attention to details
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills at senior level with clients, our co-investment partners, the technology provider.
  • Excellent understanding of technical, legal and project finance knowledge
