Manager, Consolidation Financial Reporting & Audit

Job Description

To ensure that the NOMAC Group Company’s accounting is done as per ACWA Group’s accounting policy guidelines and compliant with IFRS guidelines and ensuring that the NOMAC’s procedures with respect to these are fully complied with while delivering the deliverables as per the timelines of the group.

Group Reporting in HFM:

  • Lead the group reporting for each month, quarter, and year ending as per ACWA Power group reporting timelines.
  • Supervise the process of Uploading trial balance in HFM and intercompany transaction at GL level.
  • Automation of consolidation from HFM & other reports as required by management
  • Running adhoc HFM reports for internal review and providing to management

Closure of Books of Accounts  

  • Ensure timely & Accurate closure of books.
  • Consistently ensure that the timelines as directed by ACWA Power with respect to Quarterly review of entity level FS and report to parent company are adhered to.
  • Quarterly review of IFRS reporting pack across all group entities and providing inputs on variances in coordination with regions.
  • Ensuring correct mapping is recorded in subsidiaries trial balance and schedules are matching with Financials statements.

Coordination with BUC & regional Finance Teams

  • Monthly closing & related party entries
  • Dividend movement, IFRS related entries for monthly quarterly Consolidation
  • Review and Support the Quarterly Financials with full notes to accounts and MDA
  • Work closely with ACWA Group Reporting team and meet their requirements on the above

External Audit & Internal Audit Coordination

  • Review of mapping and classification in HFM along with audited FS classification.
  • Coordinating with company and group auditors towards completing audit on timely basis

Enhancing the process

  • Continuously engage with ACWA power group reporting team and ensure that there is uniformity in the accounting policies being followed at NOMAC.
  • Ensure that Latest IFRS guidelines as applicable are continuously followed.
  • Define and drive strategic initiatives that result in improvements in GDCs service offering and regional support.
  • Reduction in manual work and depend on automations and auto schedulers.
  • Bring standardization in all business areas across all the business units.
