JOB DETAILS
Position Title : Process and Performance Engineer
Reports to : Operations Manager / Operations Section
HeadFunction : OperationsPrepared
JOB PURPOSE:
Plant performance monitoring. Monitoring of the process and equipment, Performance gap analysis, process enhancement and optimization
Technical Guidance
Process design review.
Development of SOPs/operation procedures.
Contribution of ISP preparation.
ENGICA development/preparation.
Periodic performance testing of process and equipment.
Ensure Performance monitoring.
Monitoring KPIs and process compliance.
Generating performance reports.
Policies, Processes, Systems & Procedures
Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute with new ideas and suggestions in-line with the organisation’s standards. Suggest Digitization areas
Health, Safety, Security & Environment
Adhere to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental procedures, instructions and controls so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
Related Assignments
Perform any other duties which the line manager may require to be carried out.
COMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal:
Need to work closely with all sections of plant specially shift operations and Engineering / Maintenance Sections
External:
Coordinate with contractors, vendors wherever applicable
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
Minimum
7-10 years related experience in operation/performance monitoring in coal-based unit.
Preferable
10-12 years of related experience in thermal power plant
Skills
Skills:
Thorough knowledge on RO plant systems, processes, Equipment and their behavior.
Must have desk experience and emergency condition handling exposure.
Exposure in latest computer software programs in performance calculations.
Must be capable of producing clear, concise performance reports.
